Campfire Cavalry
Original Release Date: 03/07/2994
Summertime was more than just the final ring of the school bell for the foreseeable future, it was an opportunity to hit the ionic lakes of the middle interior of exoplanet 1380. Their purifying and age-reversing effects were galaxy-renowned and often the sites of much chaos among those who could afford to dip their toes, hooves, or paws. Camp Cavalry, a subsidized youth retreat for underprivileged children, had retained a fair share of Lake Clarity, one of the larger bodies of water. The water was reportedly so transparent it looked as if the lake was empty! The counselors there took great pride in teaching their campers about the positive ripple effects of kindness, sharing, and the art of telling ghost stories. Often, music would accompany the hikes, picnics, and events that would transpire all summer, the original melodies forever ingrained in their minds. After budget cuts ended the camp program, several former counselors would reunite decades later to produce their first album Lake Clarity under the name Campfire Cavalry as an homage to those hot summer nights. Two albums later, Toasted Mallow, would become a smash hit, luring untold millions back to the lakes. Using the profits from the sales of the album, the band reinstated Camp Cavalry, much to the delight of children across the planet.
