Pizza Bear
Original Release Date: 03/25/2022
After the release of Pizza Bear's debut album 30 Minutes or Less, critics skewered the hardworking bear, claiming his beats were too "sleepy." He hit back a year later, with his sophomore effort Sleepy Bear (his only album not to feature his full likeness). Even sleepier than his first album, his beats nonetheless proved to be infectious. Even the mayor of his hometown, New Bear City, gave him the Key To The City to honor one of the most famous, and community-changing, artists NBC had ever produced. The critics too bowed down to the new champion, however, production issues plagued its release and only several dozen copies were ever released due to an unexplainable shipping error. Defeated and unable to face his fans, Pizza Bear retreated to his basement apartment and kept himself preoccupied, shying away from rampant rumors that threatened to upend his short career. The isolation that had inspired Sleepy Bear was about to right the ship under the glow of a portable television.
