Sad Dog
Original Release Date: 03/06/4579
Previously thought lost to solar exposure and space dust erosion, the full version of Sad Dog’s hit single Down & Out (previously labeled “Sad Dog”) is now presented in its full version.
Not much is known about Sad Dog, the tortured artist who was reportedly discovered in a dark alley, soaking wet, clutching a record that contained only a single song. That song, formerly known by the musician’s moniker, was recently decoded, further revealing the title Down & Out and nearly two extra minutes of content, expanding what was a fleeting beat into a full-fledged song. Legend has it that Sad Dog had been brought in from the cold and given a gleaming record contract, one that would have made her a bigger star than even the largest celestial body known to science. But her unknown past quickly became clear and a deadly ring of poachers came calling. While laying down the instrumental for what would have been her second song, Sad Dog was forced to flee in a hail of bullets and thwacking net guns. While the technicians that day did not survive, we have it on good authority that the song Sad Dog was working on did. While we continue our search for that historic track, we ask that if you have seen anyone matching her description that you send us a signal. There is a handsome reward for anyone who provides information leading to her rescue.
Original Database Entry: Lost in some deep, dark corner of the universe, Sad Dog lived up to her moniker, breaking hearts when this single became her one and only recording. Its influence is impossible to ignore and every kid from Planet A to Planet Z wished they could own an original copy of this historic jam.
