Whether this was a self-fulfilling prophecy, we may never know, but the remarkable success of this album still defies logic. Recorded over the course of 48 hours, it not only proved extremely lucrative to the band but inspired others to seek their fortune using the tools of the Zodiac. Many have tried, some never even saw the light of day, but the explorative grooves and mellow synthesizers of On The Cusp Of Greatness still have not been matched to this day.
