Mascarpone Beach walked so that Trick/Treat could run. Soaring on the long-forgotten reward of good times and beach vibes, Trick/Treat firmly planted their roots with the head-bopping screams of NEAT. Much like Mascarpone Beach, Trick Bartlesbeem and Floatinougain Treat were beach bums, content in their lifestyle while leaning heavily into the candy-coated, sugary high that the year-round sun of their hometown of Solar City provided. Unlike Mascarpone Beach, whose cautionary tale was of the rise and fall of greed and ganache, Trick/Treat's motivation was to provide the lasting crunch of tasty beats from sundown to sunrise. Cooking with gas and dipped in the funky beats of their predecessors, NEAT was an orgiastic experience from start to finish; an eight-course chef's tasting menu of sun-drenched synth. From the water's edge to the nightclubs of their Solar City's neon strip, Trick/Treat was content to let the night take them and their listeners for a top-down ride. While I would like to say that all the fun and games would eventually come to end, the party is still in full swing for the duo. No speedbump had ever cropped up in their musical journey, nor the commonplace swindling of their money by a no-good manager. It seemed as if, despite their propensity for indulgence, they could always wash their hands clean. This is no way meant they were despicable, or above the law, we just cannot seem to find a bad thing to say about Trick/Treat, dear Audionauts! Our suggestion? Grab a cooler, load it up with suds, head down to the nearest beach and take a giant swig of Neat. We know you'll be tappin' your toes long into the night, and, if you're lucky, into the warmth of the rays of Solar City's most chill duo.
