The first participant in The Intergalactic Beets Project, Nectarines On Neptune was all that remained of the crew of the Neptunian Peace Corp. Their mission to establish contact with the final planet of Milkway Galaxy Solar System 62586, was indeed successful, but due to limited technology, there would be no return and no reinforcements for some time. Warmly welcomed by the Neptunians, the crew was gifted with bushels of local nectarines and a live concert of mellow tunes to make their transition much easier. The music was pressed to vinyl and each member was given a copy to commemorate the historic event. For millennia, only a handful were preserved, many nearly unplayable. Until now. The IBP is proud to present the first true decoded version of the original Nectarines On Neptune album, featuring a complete track list and expanded versions of songs thought lost to time. The music of fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, can now be safely returned to their homes so that Neptunians everywhere can remember a spark of peace in an otherwise dark universe.
