Merry Glorkmas to you! It’s that special time of the year where all the younglings from the Andromeda to the Zymoletic patiently await the flaming chariot of Saint Glorkimble. His judgmental spear strikes fear (and well-wishes) into the hearts of children both good and bad. Ancient rituals dictate that Glorkimble must navigate the entire universe in just one Earth Day (that’s 24 hours) to smite his enemies and bring gifts to those who are in great need. Whether it is a new pair of florbens, a replaced wintol for your muppy, or just a heaping pile of oglopinbork, rest assured that the Saint with the ten tentacles has your back! To celebrate this wonderful time of year, which falls on December 25th (no matter the calendar used), the Intergalactic Beets Project commissioned various artists—including Pizza Bear, Humpback, Space Cowboys, Ring Snozbee, and many more to record their own versions of classic Glorkmas jingles likes The Flaming Spear of Justice, I Can’t Believe It’s Glorkmas Again (I’m Scared!), and, of course, Glorkimble Cometh. As you set out plates of tasty ziggle fruits to ward of the creature’s hunger, we invite you to spin these merry, and cautionary, tunes to help you sleep through the night (though it may be with one eye open).
