Low Rye
Original Release Date: 03/16/2476
Known to Earthlings in the Milky Way Galaxy as “bread,” the sentient loaves of Low Rye (Rye, Sour Dough, and Glue Ton) drifting across the void with a bag full of caraway seeds, spreading their warm, buttery goodness across the moons of Jupiter before leaving the solar system to pursue new opportunities. Their only Milky Way-produced album, Low Rye changed the electronic scene on Io and Titan for decades to come with their infectious groovy foundation punctuated by guitars, horns, and anything they could get their hands on. Critics attempted to call them half-baked, but no one had heard sounds like these in nearly 500 years, proving the taste had never truly gone stale. While their later offerings explored new recipes, much to their success and later destruction, Low Rye remains a party favorite and a testament to the progenitors who had the courage to steer clear of the mainstream.
