BDV-101
Original Release Date: 04/02/2519
Stranded with only a synthesizer and a drum machine, the crew of intergalactic biodiversity mission BDV-101 had no choice but to be inspired by the gaze of Jupiter from its moon Enceladus. While their radio remained functional, they broadcast melancholy anthems to those within earshot. A rescue was mounted, but the icy surface proved too unforgiving. It was not until 100 years later that a new signal arose, the very warmth of their instruments enough to sustain the crew for a century, a thousand beats conjured and ready to be distributed across the galaxy.
