Pizza Bear
Original Release Date: 08/23/2029
Pizza Bear kept the pedal to the metal after his fourth album Average Bear, driving his intergalactic bus full of beats beneath the big top and spinning a web of psychedelic melodies that would entrance a listener of any age. By this stage in his career, Pizza Bear had experienced quite the circus, between the disappointing production of his second album, to the meteoric rise of his third and fourth, it seemed he was destined to fail at some point. Even the brightest of stars turns into a black hole. Ever confident, the resident of New Bear City stuck to his roots, weaving in the sideshow energy of the intergalactic music business into an album that took the sector to task, but also relished in the fun of the spectacle. Circus Bear featured the mega-hit May I Have Your Attention, Please? and the titular single which knocked his own album Average Bear down in the charts to #2.
From the artist: “I think my critics are the only ones who are putting out any pressure. My fans know that I only care about the music, it’s why I don’t charge listeners to hear it. Collectors try and sell that stuff on the black market, but I can’t control it, I can only keep making it. Circus Bear is a bit about that perceived pressure, like I’m performing to a crowd but I’m the ringmaster. I own the circus; I am the master of creating the experience.”
