Ziti Patrol

Original Release Date: 5/12/2077

While the beats inside are most certainly cooked, this vinyl is definitely rare. Ziti Patrol released their ninth studio album 2077 after their previous album Second Serving, crashed and burned. Declared a return to form with a dash of experimentation, the included Scratch-n-Sniff parmesan sampler was an even bigger hit. In a crowded field of food-related performers, Ziti Patrol rose to the top of the heap with timely lyrics and soulful riffs, providing pasta-lovers with tasty grooves to lose themselves to. Tasked with evolving their sound, their lead guitarist Tony Tagliatelle decided to ditch the acoustic sound from Second Serving and plugged straight into a five-hundred-degree oven. The haunting echo that proceeded to hum through the guitar’s pickups was not frightening but rather…crispy. This soulful turn was not without its ticky-tack drum beats and twinkly piano that Ziti Patrol had been known for, but there was something warm about 2077, something that could easily be complemented by a refreshing, carbonated drink.
